Inanimate objects or food cannot be made as characters. Cloning characters from popular culture such as Transformers, anime, real or famous people is not allowed. You may loosely base them off of cartoon characters, but do not drag any canon stories into Shinkou Ookami. -Gods, half-gods, demi-gods, or any type of god-like beings are not allowed. Gods only exist in legends, myths and religions. Gods never exist as actual characters and characters never come into contact with them. -Do not copy or steal information off of another character's profile for your own. That information is copyright to the person who created them. -Wolves cannot be taller than 4 feet. For other species height specifics, go to The Races of Shinkou thread. -Make an effort to be descriptive. Profiles should be detailed and in depth. A single sentence isn't enough to tell us all about a character. -YOU CANNOT ROLEPLAY UNTIL YOUR CHARACTER'S PROFILE HAS BEEN APPROVED. Puppy Rules -Litter births are not restricted to certain seasons. Feel free to have puppies any time of the year. -A single wolf litter should not exceed 5 puppies. -Pregnancies must last at least 1-2 weeks real time before the puppies are born. Feel free to have the pregnancy last longer if you so wish. -Wait at least 6 months real time before having another puppy litter. This is per character, not per couple. Character Posting Form All character profiles must first be posted in the New Profiles board and follow the form below in order to be approved. When filling out the form, remember to remove the explanations that are in the parentheses. ( ) For Wolf Profiles- Title should read: Pack Wolves: Name - Pack (Rank can be included if you want.) Lone Wolves: Name - Loner For Non-wolf Profiles- Title should read: Name - Race For Human/Anthro Worlds Specific Characters, please scroll below the basic character form. For an explanation and list of Sub-Races Click this link. Basic Character Form Code: [b]Name:[/b] [b]Gender:[/b] [b]Race:[/b] (Put down the basic race that your character is, for example: Wolf, Human, Dragon, Hawk, Bird, Domestic Dog, Horse, Cat, Lion, etc. You may simply fill this in as "Unspecified" if your character is a pure were-wolf or shape shifting creature that does not have a single or permanent base species.) They include: Demon, Celestial, Werewolf, Vampire, Shapeshifter, Spirit, Ghost and Undead. If your character isn't any, put N/A.) [b]Breed:[/b] (For species like wolves that have different breeds, like the timber, red, arctic, dire, maned, etc. Or fantasy/made-up breeds such as winged or Druin.) [b]Appearance:[/b] (Appearance, personality and biography should be detailed and descriptive. Short, single sentences will be unacceptable. Do not post JUST a picture for their appearance, you NEED a typed description that is at least a paragraph of what they physically look like.) [b]Personality:[/b] [b]Magic:[/b] (Remember that if you are making a Sho-un character, they do not have any magic on their own, so this remains blank. Magic is the element(s), also known as spirits, that characters can use. Refer to the MAGIC RULES & USAGE page before choosing magic and spells. Also remember that magic are not spells, it is simply a single word used to describe the type of magic used.) -[b]Spells:[/b] (If you choose a magic for your character, don't leave the spells area blank. Spells are the actions used to perform the magic, so it'd be silly to have no spells if you have magic.) [b]Skills:[/b] (Skills are non-magical abilities that characters can do, such as being good runners or having knowledgeable skills in healing plants. They are the physical abilities that a character can perform. Anything ethereal like seeing energy or absorbing things that do not physically exist is a magic spell, not a skill.) [b]Biography:[/b] (Basically a character's biography is a description of their past or history. Other than that though, a character's bio can contain just about any information, from their history to their family trees and any extras you'd like to include such as age, mates, friends, etc.) Human/Anthro Worlds The Human/Anthro Worlds board is an area that does not exist in the same world as the wolves of Shinkou Ookami. This area is made specifically for humanoid or anthro roleplay in futuristic or magical worlds. Characters made for the Human/Anthro worlds cannot go into the wolf worlds, and wolves from Shinkou, Akeru, Giaku or the loner and pack areas cannot go into the Human/Anthro boards. Plots and roleplay here do not affect any plots and roleplay in the wolf territories. Please use the form below for any Human/Anthro Worlds character.
