Official Date! « Thread Started on Jul 22, 2010, 4:28pm » Whelp, we've gotten through most of the summer already, so we'll call this our "end of the summer celebration summer sosspy" instead. xD The date will be Saturday, August 7th. Officially we begin at 7:00 PM Central Time...or Eastern...but usually people show up when ever they like and continue on into the night. Since this is what usually happens, I start preparations early so that everyone already gathered can start roleplaying at the bonfire whenever they like. What is the Bonfire? A bonfire is what we call one big thread where everyone can roleplay and meet and greet their fellow pack members. Only Shinkou, Akeru and loners are allowed to attend, sorry Giaku and other packs. D: A bonfire is a great time to also meet the pack leaders, since normally staff are there with their characters and I always make sure that Wyndbain's there to attend the fun, so if you've ever thought it would be awesome sauce for your character to roleplay with some pack leaders, the Bonfire is a good place to make introductions and form strong pack bonds. What is the SOSSPY? SOSSPY stands for: Shinkou Ookami Saturday Slumber PartY. Basically it's a time that everyone clears off in their calendars to make a bee-line for SO and roleplay all night long. >3 Usually this is for a Bonfire, but since only Shinkou, Akeru and loners can go to a bonfire, Giaku and other member packs can find others to roleplay with at this time as well, so everyone has fun in a SOSSPY! :3 Link to Post - Back to Top   Logged My Characters Craveth Renown member is offline I always tell the truth, Even when I lie! Maybe the first few intro posts will be long and prettified but the rest I think should be short, so we can handle 'em all. Its roots are in the way neopets guilds work. Yes, neopets and their guilds are the devil, but there was definitely an appeal to the chaos of having several people all at once posting short posts (there had been a character limit xD) at the same time. Sure it was chaotic but it made everything feel more like a community.
